The Hildesheim Tourist Information Center on the historic market square is not only the number one source of information for all visitors to Hildesheim, but also offers a huge selection of high-quality souvenirs, gifts, and typical Hildesheim specialties. Especially during the Christmas season, for example, the Hildesheim Christmas tree ornaments with their changing designs have become collector's items. Producers with a passion for Hildesheim make numerous delicacies directly in the region, such as the fruit preserves made from local orchard fruit from Edith Haupt's "Witches' Kitchen" and numerous rose products inspired by the Hildesheim myth of the 1.000-year-old rosebush. Equally popular are the "Hildesheim Rumtreiber" (a local liqueur) from Christian Nagel's distillery, beer made in Hildesheim, and the traditional "Hildesheim Heavenly Truffles." History buffs and bookworms will find just as much to enjoy as connoisseurs of good coffee and exquisitely designed handicrafts. Discover a selection of Hildesheim's diverse product range here!

Regional
delights

The original Hildesheim Heavenly Truffles are a true delight. For 40 years, these small, handcrafted spheres with a creamy cocoa filling and a coating of milk chocolate have been the trademark of the Schlegel trading company. And they're alcohol-free, too.

You can enjoy a freshly roasted coffee from one of Hildesheim's roasters or toast with a Hildesheim Heavenly Sparkling Wine. On homemade bread made from carefully selected ingredients comes a delicious spread of beer and sea buckthorn, sparkling apple, or black cherry, elderberry, dark chocolate, and Hildesheim rum.
