Playing in the castle park
You'll be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful setting: Nine of the 18 holes at the Sieben-Berge Rheden Golf Club wind through the former park of Rheden Castle, with its mature trees. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Leinebergland region, about 20 kilometers southwest of Hildesheim, the course is one of the oldest in northern Germany. After your round, you can relax and enjoy excellent food and drinks on a sheltered sun terrace. The Hildesheim region also offers other fantastic golfing opportunities for beginners and professionals alike. For example, the 18-hole course at the Bad Salzdetfurth Golf Club is picturesquely situated in a hilly oak and beech forest. For top-level international golf, the Gleidingen golf course near Sarstedt offers three nine-hole courses.
