Advent season in Hildesheim

You can reach Hildesheim via the A2 and A7 motorways (Hildesheim-Drispenstedt and Hildesheim exits). Fast national connections are available via ICE trains. Regional connections are provided by Deutsche Bahn, erixx, Enno/Metronom, and NordWestBahn.

Additional booking information:

For guided city tours, a fee of 50 cents per person is charged for a short visit to the cathedral and the rose garden. This fee must be paid in cash in the cathedral foyer.

Payment by invoice is not possible. Please also note that church services and religious events in the cathedral always take precedence. 

This may also mean that a guided tour of the cathedral is not possible at short notice.
For the one-hour cathedral tours and cathedral museum tours, please bring your tour confirmation and present it in the cathedral foyer. 

The entrance fee for the Cathedral Museum has already been booked through the Hildesheim Tourist Information Office; it is not necessary to pay for it in the Cathedral foyer.

Cancellations and changes are free of charge up to 10 days before the tour; after that, 100% of the tour costs will be charged.

During guided tours on public holidays, Saturdays, Sundays and during church services, interior visits to the churches cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation policy for guided tours: Please note that changes or cancellations must be received by the Tourist Information office during opening hours up to three days before the tour (by telephone or email to tourist-info@hildesheim-marketing.de), otherwise we will have to charge you the full cost.

Rebooking fee: We charge a processing fee of EUR 5,00 per rebooking. Service fee: Please ensure you provide us with your correct billing address. 
and provide all necessary information (e.g., department, your reservation number, etc.). For subsequent invoice corrections and re-sending, we reserve the right to charge a service fee of EUR 5,00.
