A journey through the centuries

When a place possesses outstanding significance and universal value for humanity, it can become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hildesheim boasts two such sites: the Cathedral of St. Mary with its treasury, and St. Michael's Church – both over 1.000 years old and unique examples of early medieval architecture and sacred art. The passion, creativity, and ingenuity of the visionaries and pioneers of yesteryear continue to inspire wonder, fascination, and inspiration today. These ancient walls have many stories to tell! Listen to them on an engaging guided tour that will bring Hildesheim's World Heritage to life.

Note: Please be aware that interior visits to the churches will incur an additional fee of €12,00 per church.
