From your own bed directly to the beach
Want to come with your home on wheels, bringing your own bed along, so to speak? Take the A7 motorway, exiting at Hildesheim and Hildesheim-Drispenstedt, and you'll find two lovely spots for your motorhome. The campsite on the eastern shore of Lake Hohnsensee boasts a fantastic location, with easy access to the motorway via the B1 and B6. There, you can stay for up to two nights free of charge in a green setting right by the water. The historic city center is just a stone's throw away, and at the nearby JoWiese beach and outdoor swimming pool, you can sip cool drinks with your feet in the sand under palm trees. A little further away, but very close to the A7, is the basic campsite at the Berliner Kreisel roundabout, ideal for a short stopover thanks to its proximity to restaurants and a bus stop for line 5, which runs to the city center. Oh, and it doesn't necessarily have to be right in the city? Then take a look at the surrounding region, for example, the campsites at the Bad Salzdetfurth brine baths. Or you can take a relaxing break at the Ambergau motorhome and camping park in Bockenem, at the Seecamp Derneburg or the large campsite at the Familienpark Sottrum.
