With »ICH:MEDIUM«, Edin Bajrić and Jessika Dirks present the results of months of self-reflection and self-examination. In increasingly intensive variations of their own exploration, they grapple with the question of the self – both external and internal.

Dirks and Bajrić open up a space for experience in which the self is deconstructed, unfolded, and reassembled. The project explores physicality, interiority, and fragmentation. It examines the self as a medium—as object and simultaneously as subject. The artworks reveal how self-reflection can be artificial, constructed, and yet profoundly truthful. The exhibition concept is an invitation to radical observation and an opportunity to experience one's own self as a medium of transformation.
Edin Bajrić, born in 1980, lives and works in Hanover.
Jessika Dirks lives and works in Braunschweig and Hanover.
