This year, the square "An der Lilie" will once again be transformed into a holiday oasis with its City Beach. From June 26th to August 16th, beachgoers are invited to enjoy cool drinks and delicious summer food and relax in a sandy setting. A diverse program offers young and old alike the opportunity to fully enjoy summer in the city.

With a cool, refreshing drink in hand, a deck chair, feet in the sand, and surrounded by palm trees, you can't help but feel the holiday atmosphere: For many days, the City Beach invites you to relax, unwind, meet friends, or enjoy a round of beach sports. Around 100 tons of sand transform the An der Lilie square into a true beach experience. Sand toys are available again this year for little ones to build enormous sandcastles. Other highlights for children include a sandbox boat and water toys.
