On Open Monument Day, experience the history of Derneburg Castle with Heinz-Peter Gerber, author of the book "Derneburg Castle and the Laves Cultural Trail." He will guide you through the castle's rooms, sharing firsthand accounts from eyewitnesses. What was life like for the Counts of Münster during their aristocratic era? Where did the artist Georg Baselitz work, and what happened during the time of the monastery? Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit the art exhibitions in the outbuildings and the sculpture park of Derneburg Castle.
