Guido Klumpe is a photographic artist, Anna Beller a painter – both are united by the medium of color, minimalism, and a poetic interplay with chance. Time and space are captured visually and expanded mentally – process-oriented studio works and photographic city sequences illuminate life.
Anna Beller, born in 1984, works as an abstract painter in Hanover. With her purist color works, she explores color overlays and new material combinations. Her paintings engage in a dialogue with, among other things, Morris Louis's color field painting of the Washington School.
Guido Klumpe, born in 1971, has lived in Hanover since 2006 and is known for his minimalist photographic art in the border areas between abstract architectural and minimalist street photography.
