Once you arrive in Hildesheim, be sure to stop by our Tourist Information Center! Centrally located on the historic market square, it's housed in one of the city's most beautiful buildings, the Tempelhaus, built around 1350. Our knowledgeable team will welcome you and help you plan the perfect stay in the city and region. You can book accommodations, city tours, or excursions, and receive valuable information on all the sights, including UNESCO World Heritage sites and the St. Andrew's Church tower with its fantastic panoramic views. We also offer brochures, event listings, and much more. With our wide selection of souvenirs, regional products, and art and design items from Hildesheim, we're sure to have something for everyone. You can find barrier-free access via the side entrance on Judenstraße (ring the bell for Tourist Information).

Arrival & Parking

The tourist information office is centrally located in the Tempelhaus on the historic market square. You can reach us by public transport using almost all bus lines via the Schuhstraße or Kardinal-Bertram-Straße stops. The main train station is about a 10-minute walk away. For those arriving by car, the "Ratsbauhof" and "Marktgarage" parking garages (fees apply) are recommended.
