Theatre for Lower Saxony
The theater for Lower Saxony (tfn) is headquartered at the Hildesheim City Theatre and presents a wide range of cultural events there: classic operas, humorous operettas, plays from traditional to modern, musicals from Broadway to chanson, social events, and concerts with orchestras and choirs. There are also diverse programs and interactive formats for children and young people. With approximately 20 new productions each year, the varied program offers something for everyone.

It has two venues: the main stage (540 seats, barrier-free access to the stalls, six wheelchair spaces) and the studio stage (150 seats, barrier-free access, six wheelchair spaces).

The theater is within walking distance of the city center, for example by walking along Rathausstraße and then turning left towards Zingel. Cross the street at the Einhorn Apotheke (Unicorn Pharmacy).
You can reach the theatre by public transport via the stops “Theater” and “Theaterstraße”.
For those arriving by car, there is free parking at VGH and paid parking in the "Am Ratsbauhof" parking garage, at Volksbank eG Hildesheim-Lehrte-Pattensen and at the ibis Styles Hotel.
