Fine craftsmanship from the "Ruhr area"
For over eight centuries, vessels made from high-quality Duingen stoneware clay were a true export hit – throughout Germany and Europe! This made Duingen the largest ceramic-producing town in the picturesque region between the Leine and Weser rivers, known as "Pottland." This fascinating history can be explored in the Duingen Pottery Museum through numerous exhibits and explanations.
